| The Science Department offers fifteen
different, one-year laboratory courses. It is necessary to complete
two full years of science to fulfill the State of Indiana requirements
for graduation. CORE 40, an alliance of Indiana colleges and
universities, requires three years of high school science for
college admission; two credits are to come from Biology; two
from Chemistry or Physics; with the final two coming from Chemistry,
Physics, Earth/Space Science, Environmental Science or a second
year of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. I and II, are used to
designate the first and second years of the course, respectively.
AHD denotes courses acceptable for the Academic Honors Diploma. |
